Geneva is not the same without you! I’ve been encouraged as I’ve gotten to connect to some commuter students, by phone, to see how their transition has been. Yes, there are struggles, but overall, the students I have spoken to have been transitioning well and seeking out the help that Student Development is offering, which has been so encouraging to me! It is a testament to our students that they are committed to their education in these uncertain times.

Continue to endure and please remember, I am only a phone call away! I want to leave you with Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthy things and Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

During these times of uncertainty, it is easy for fear and anxiety to creep in about many things. Rest assured, we can find comfort and peace in our Lord. His Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. In the moments when we feel weak and worried inside, may we find solace in lifting our voice to God who promises to provide peace in the day of adversity. For God is our strong tower in the day of trouble. (Proverbs 18:10)
